Mexican singer Thalía shared an emotional message on the passing of the icon of Latin American comedy, Roberto Gómez Bolaños, Chespirito.
Through her Instagram account, Thalía mourned the death of comedian, playwright, writer, screenwriter, composer, director and producer; creator of the iconic character of Mexican children, "El chavo del ocho" and "El chapulín colorado".
"Dear Roberto; How I will thank you for many moments of happiness and laughter you gave me? Where to begin. For many years you were my friend, my companion, my accomplice. You taught me the purest love with no condition by age or social position. Nor for belongings or noble titles. With a barrel, a cake and a big heart with concern for others, one was able to achieve happiness! You are ahead of us now, but they are preparing the way for when our time comes, we feel we will come home, to something familiar like we saw you in our homes every day. Beloved Florinda, your soulmate and life partner has only made a transition. We are ALL with you and your family. The whole world prays for #Chespirito". Thalía wrote and shared a touching image of her with Roberto Gómez during a tribute held in his honor few years ago.
