Thalía shared through her Instagram account that September 30 was named "Thalía Day" in the city of Miami.

"Happy to have received this proclamation on behalf of Mayor Tomás Regalado. Appointing the the September 30, 2016 as Thalía Day in the city of Miami. Thank you Mr. Mayor for such a lovely surprise! We'll have party every year!" The singer captioned.

In the published photograph, the star is next to Emilio, Gloria and Lili Estefan.
