Macy's to Sponsor Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection

RED AHEAD: Macy's will be this year's presenting sponsor for the Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection, the celebrity-studded runway show set for February 12 at Lincoln Center. The retailer has lined up its newest VIP designer, Thalía, to walk the runway.

She will be one of 20 celebrities who will show off their modeling skills and simultaneously help start Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York. This year's 20-woman roster also will include Bethany Mota, Kristin Cavallari, Gina Rodriguez, Gladys Knight, Tippi Hedren, Tracy Anderson, Laverne Cox, Alexa Ray Joel and Star Jones.

They will don designer-made red dresses to help raise awareness of heart disease. Since 2004, Macy's has raised more than $46 million for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women.
