Thalía's message in English:

"My grandmother, I celebrate your beautiful passage through this land. You were strength until the last of your days. An immovable Titan, a Gladiator, a Praetorian who struggled to stand up until the last hours of her life. Always, against all odds. And you forged us warriors to face any adversity in life. You taught us that mischievous sense of humor, and you showed us how to resolve our emotions by singing and dancing. Fly free into the arms of our Blessed Father. Your daughter will be waiting for you too! (She told me yesterday at dawn between dreams).
You are now free precious soul, there is no more pain, there is no more sorrow, that body was left behind, now you just ARE! May God our Father keep you in his arms, our Evita. Here we will celebrate your wonderful life my beautiful grandmother, and you will always be close to our 🤍

I love you granny 🙏🏼🕊 I love you very, very, very much.🥹"

El Gordo y La Flaca was one of the media outlets that reported the news on networks: "Eva Mange, grandmother of Thalía and Laura Zapata dies at 104 years of age. We send our condolences to the family. Rest in peace."

A month ago Doña Eva was hospitalized
On May 18, Laura Zapata reported that her grandmother had been hospitalized for anemia and asked for blood donors through her social media account.

"I brought my grandmother (to the hospital) to have a blood transfusion done because she has severe anemia. I ask you for a prayer so that everything goes well."

However, on the morning of the 19th, she shared that Doña Eva had been discharged: "Thank God we are already at home. I sincerely appreciate your prayers, your affection for joining us. My beloved grandmother Eva Mange Márquez is wonderful," shared with her followers.

Laura Zapata found her grandmother "as autistic" and suspects that she suffered physical violence in the nursing home
Laura Zapata announced that she will go to the last consequences against whoever is responsible for the deterioration of her grandmother's health, Doña Eva Mange, who lives in a nursing home.

"For the convenience of my grandmother, because she was not alone with a nurse in the house, Thalía and I decided to put her in a place where she had gone for a long time to a thing called Club de Vida", explained the actress in Ventaneando.

On January 18, the Rosa salvaje villain shared on her Twitter account that her grandmother was complaining of pain despite the medication and explained that she would be debrided. However, on Tuesday afternoon she reported on the Mexican show that the procedure was suspended because the nursing home did not have the necessary tools.

Zapata's complaint has had an immediate response from the authorities: "Yesterday 17 people were here watching, doing research, checking."

The actress underwent a confinement as part of the protocol to be able to spend the birthday with her grandmother, who was 104 years old on January 18.

However, what would be a happy encounter turned into "a horror story". Laura even suspects that her grandmother may have suffered physical abuse.

She explained that when she managed to see Doña Eva, she found her in a state "like autistic".

The soap opera villain assures that her grandmother did not talk about her, but when she recognized her, her attitude changed.

"She didn't speak. Now that she sits down, that she sees me, that she knows that I come to defend her. Then she started talking and complaining because she didn't even complain. No, no, no, a horror panic story."

Laura confirmed that her grandmother is still in their nursing home and explained why she does not want to take her to a hospital, despite the fact that the local doctors have tried to get Doña Eva out of her.

"We are in the association, I am not moving from here, although they have tried to get us out under the pretext that my grandmother needs to be intubated."

"I need to have her here, that they do what she needs here, take her to a hospital with COVID to catch another infection, another microbe or a virus, definitely not," she said clearly and concisely.

The actress believes that, had she not arrived on time, she, Doña Eva, could have died from the infection.

"If I don't come in a month, I think they'll give me my grandmother and tell me: 'She died of septicemia and here is her grandmother, dead of hers.'"

"Today for my grandmother and for all her colleagues who live here and for all the people who live in nursing homes, because it is not possible that she does not respect herself, she was abused," she pointed out in Ventaneando.

In the interview, she also said that her half-sister Thalía is aware of everything and together they seek to do justice.

The shows of support and affection for the artists and their families were immediate, and both fans and colleagues from the entertainment world sent their condolences at this difficult time.

The matriarch took her last breath days after being admitted to a hospital in Mexico with a serious case of anemia and her family asked for blood donations.

In recent months, Doña Eva had presented intermittent health problems that kept her under medical supervision. In April of last year, during one of her relapses, Laura reported that her grandmother received the holy oils from a priest friend.

Rest in peace.
