Although music remains a priority, the Mexican singer reveals that she has very diverse interests that she would like to explore.

Although Thalía has been dedicated to music since she was nine years old, the Mexican, who has just presented a new song, has never thought of neglecting that facet, which confesses that it has "served as therapy, liberation and healing".

"I need it in my life as a psychologist or a doctor is needed if I have a medical condition," said the singer and businesswoman, recognized as one of the most international artists in her country.

The last result of this therapy is called Ya tú me conoces, a collaboration with the brothers Mau and Ricky, children of the singer Ricardo Montaner, which she describes as "fresh, fun and spicy".

"They gave it to me, they sent it to me in a 'demo' with their voices. I listened to the song and said 'tell them the song is already mine'," recalls the Mexican, married to the famous music producer Tommy Mottola.

But Thalía liked the work of the duo so much that she decided that the piece would be a collaboration of the three: "They are very lovable and cute, real children, and that is what I like when I seek to share songs."

Although music has been and continues to be a large part of her life, the singer of Mujer Latina has other plans in her future to "fly to new horizons".

"For example, I want to learn how to make giant metal sculptures, I want to follow in the footsteps of my criminologist father, I want to learn, study a little more about that," explains the singer, mother of two children, who reveals that she does not like to limit herself.

"I learned that life is not just black and white, it is a range of 'in between' colors that you have to explore," she says.

A good example of this philosophy are the constant business adventures in which she has embarked, which he explains with a simple: "Why not? What limits you in life?"

Perfumes, clothing lines, jewelry, shoes, household items or chocolates, Thalía has tried her luck even in the world of media with magazines and a radio program.

"Every day you can change your profession if you want to. Every day offers you to start from scratch, change all your behavior patterns, all your way of seeing life, what you do. You can achieve everything," she says.

"Life is that playground where you go and have fun. If you don't have fun and you just do one thing, that's boring, isn't it?"

In addition to metal sculptures and criminology, among her projects is also the recording of a new album, in which she says she has been working for a year, which the details will be known "surprise to surprise".

Do not rule out other collaborations with Latin artists, given the enormous success enjoyed by the music of that region.

"Latin music is the 'mainstream' now, it is the new pop," says Thalía, who considers that it's "fascinating what happened with this new 'latin explosion'"

"Before, we all had to sing English in Latin rhythms. Not today, everyone is singing in Spanish and that is something fantastic," she concludes.
