EspañolLlegamos a “Secreto. Wow, esta canción! La historia es que… en una premiación en Miami me encontré a Jhay Cortez en los pasillos detrás del ‘stage’ esperando a salir y los dos cruzamos mirada y de ahí empezamos a platicar y fue una conexión tan increíble, compartimos número, etcétera y me avisó que iba a estar en Nueva York. Y yo le dije: “te veo en el estudio tal, en tal calle, a tal hora”, y llegó, la pasamos increíble, escuchamos varios tracks de Tainy también que nos mandó y nos pusimos a trabajar en la base de “Secreto”, entre los dos, estructurando la lírica, la melodía, quedó una canción realmente mágica, diferente en un universo tan personal y único y lo grabamos. El ingeniero estaba en la computadora en los ___ estaba Jhayco con su micrófono en un sillón, yo estaba en una silla con mi micrófono, los dos micrófonos en mano y cantamos así la canción. Al final del día yo quice respetar ese momento no quise regrabar nada… Más adelante, cuando ya le metimos full production y eso y tal cual como se quedó plasmado en ese día, las voces y el momento, así se quedó “Secreto”.

At the end of the day, I wanted to respect that moment, I didn’t want to re-record anything. Later, when we put full production on it and that and just as it was captured on that day, the voices and the moment, that’s how Secreto was kept.
